Carved letters found at the doors and the walls of St. Paul's Cathedral, London, UK were photographed and then reinterpreted into poetic typography, printed with metal and wood type letterpress.

Capturing the moment of all these inscriptions in its wear and tear and  in different times, the artist felt a connection to the names of unknown people and forgotten moments. It seemed as if they are to be missed at the cemetery or at the church. She read the ruined letters as she initially read and put it in her typography without making any corrections.

gate of heaven is a book of memorial for those who we do not know or remember, and the artist asks how we want to be remembered.
